A work permit Canada needs a prior job offer from the employer based in that country. Federal Work Permit Visa cannot be granted for more than 4 years. It is mainly divided into two types: –
Labour Market Opinion (LMO)
This organization protects the Canadian Citizens rights over the job first where they ensure that not foreign individuals are considered for the job before them. The first stage includes the opinion of Human Resource and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC). They will assess many eligibility requirements for Work Permit Canada:
- They will ensure the genuine reason behind the offer

- Establish the minimum salary for the position

Depending upon the foreign worker's country of citizenship, a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) may also need to be obtained in order to enter Canada.
Step 1: Employer applies for Labour Market Impact Assessment, if necessary.
Step 2: Employer extends Temporary Job Offer.
Step 3: Foreign Worker applies for Work Permit.
Step 4: Work Permit is issued.
